Yep....seems to have done a good job, so far....

There can actually be some nice banter, instead of the general denigration of each other that went on on BBC606.

And I, for one, am all in favour of it!

Haha you can try your best. I'm really looking forward to the Fulham game this season as it is on Boxing Day and I really like Boxing Day games.

I think most Chelsea fans have a soft spot for Fulham and enjoy friendly banter, I don't think many Chelsea fans are too fussed about Brentford or QPR simply because we've hardly ever played them in the past and they aren't as local as Fulham for instance. Most Chelsea fans like myself hate West Ham, Spurs and Arsenal, probably because we've played them so many times down the years etc.

I don't know about rivalry. To go back or not to go back, that is the question. Walking through the Commonwealth of streets to Laughtus Road may evoke too many emotions - the anxiety of 2002/03 and whether we would ever return to the Cottage.

The anxiety, some 9 years on, whether I'll be able to now fit into their seats (I pressume they haven't upgraded them).

And my bitter memories of a particular QPR fan. One Mr , a so-called referee (sic) of that time, 2004 to be precise. There were a number of 'incidents' involving Mr Halsey and Fulham FC (Southampton and Spurs for example) but the one that gets the emotions overflowing was away to Arsenal. The score was 0-0 when Cole (Ashley) tripped Cole (Andrew) in the box and Mr Halsey correctly awarded Fulham a penalty. However, on being surrounded by a pack of whinging Arsenal players he bottled it and reversed his decision, giving a drop ball instead. Shortly after, Collins John, sandwiched between two burly Arsenal defenders, headed home. Delirius Fulham? Not a bit of it. John must have pushed someone, musn't he? Ruled out. Oh no he didn't - not on the TV replays anyway. Even M Lawrenson thought it 'might' have been an okay goal! So favouring the and mighty isn't a new phenonomen, so why am I bitter? Well, afterwards Mr Halsey explained that he couldn't intentially have favoured Arsenal since he was after all, a life long QPR fan. We went on to le 3-0 by the way.

No QPR are not rivals in the true sense, but I think my emotions may keep me away on 25th February.
