What should be QPR's punishment

If they follow the current precedent then the fine will be heavy one,in the region of £5.5 million ie West Ham.However didn't West Ham have to compensate Sheffield United who were then managed by Neil Warnock?
West Ham at the time were in financial difficulty,so the punishment did hurt them.I reckon the punishment should be a punishment instead of a slap on the wrist,as West Hams was a punishment.Therefore the only option is a points deduction.QPR must go into the play-offs.
 
The Sun are so infuriating. They just make this stuff up.

I read a post on the article page for this story where some moron who'd just jumped on the morons bandwagon had piled in there saying "Faurlin has been scoring left right and center, it should be a 15 point fine".

Faurlin has scored 4 goals in 75 career games. Morons.

Only difference is... We're still in the Premier league.
 
ask Swindon fans what they got done to them when they got promotion but bent the rules "under Glen Hoddle ex England manager i think"
 
QPR have played well enough this season to deserve promotion, however if the FA determine they have broken the rules then they must be seen to be punished. 15 points deduction starting at the begining of next season would allow them to go up and to be punished at the same time, further to this a fine equal to the parachute payment would allow them no advantage if they went back down the following season.
 
As a Norwich fan I honestly hope QPR go up as champions as the title wouldn't mean much if we got it by default. Also it would be incredibly harsh on the fans who have suffered over the last however many years and had nothing to do with the boards dodgy dealings.

However at the same time if they've broken all the rules they are supposed to have done then I can't see anything but a points deduction. As I said in a previous post one of the charges is using an unlicensed agent, a charge Luton were docked points for a few years ago.

Despite this, the arrogance of some QPR fans, not all just a minority, who seem to think they will get away scott free is making it increasingly difficult to feel any sympathy for the club and its fans

Reports last week claimed they could be hit with a massive 15-point deduction, condemning them to the play-offs. However, even if the FA clears QPR, Andrew Nixon, a Thomas Eggar associate, has said that he expects a private breach of contract lawsuit to be launched by the team that misses out in third place, which could "easily get to that £90m figure".

I think it would be unfair on the QPR fans and players if they were denied automatic promotion and the point deduction wouldn't be right. If they did break the rules though, they should be punished just like Chelsea were for Gael Kakuta, either with a transfer ban (not as long as Chelsea's ban though, maybe ban them just for this summer?), or at least fined a certain amount. Other clubs get punished for this sort of thing.

If QPR are punished, and Cardiff's case is proven but goes unpunished, that could be the straw that breaks the camel's back as far as Welsh teams in the English Leagues are concerned. But this in itself is excellent news for QPR fans, as it gives them quite strong legal insurance in the event that tomorrow goes badly.
 
Any neutral or even fool, can see that this is not a level playing field. I find it mind numbingly stupid of the FA and the League.
