I have been disappointed with Dozzell, to be honest. I thought he would step up this season..he always seems to be anonymous. Amos is not brilliant but he scores the odd goal, and we berate him for missing others ( which means he was nearly there in the first place). When do we berate Dozzell, only for being anonymous....and yes I know they don't quite play the same position but he goes through matches being anonymous, Field doesn't, Johansen doesn't ...even Henrick doesn't. We always have stuff to say about them
I tend to agree with you Beth. There were some Ipswich fans who said he wouldn’t be a great loss to them. So he had something to prove, which he hasn’t so far. The odd good game but that’s not enough for this league. I thought I read his dad left a coaching role to keep an eye on his sons progress - think he may need to give him some tough love.
