No other team...but, we could start a new club called QPR606...so nothing like the banned club, and then under the management of QPR999 and Roller, the ultimate management team, we could rise up from the ashes...the likes of, Quite Possibly Raving, Sooper, Flyer, Grifter, Sku, Kilburn, Norway, Col, Tranmore, awjm, and of course, Beth would mould us into a team to be feared. Coaching staff full of experienced retired pro's, including Northolt...Paul Froud would be the fiery midfielder, who we signed after the mysterious disappearance of the Secret Ranger, who himself was signed after DT's disappearance. RTID as the unused sub each week ;) (I have played football with him, and trust me, best place for him), we could make our mark with a big signing from South America, cue Peruvian, and then kiwi being brought in from New Zealand...

(Anyone else welcome on the team, don't be upset you didn't make it this time, but neither did I)

We could play at the now abandoned Loftus Road, after the collapse of the old tenants, and rename the stadium, The Brixton Stadium...I almost want QPR to go under now, so the above can happen.

I hope the travel will be first class dave

First class...we are going to charter your own plane.

Don't forget to wave when your over Oz, Kiwi.
Looks like I'm playing left right out!

Knew there would be one! I can only sit and think of members for so long! <sorry> However, Aussie, maybe you could have the all important role of drumming up our overseas support!

A lot of people saying 'it would never be the same', and it probably wouldn't, but don't underestimate how quickly a loyalty grows. I lived in Milan before t'internet, message boards, wall to wall TV coverage etc (how I miss those days when you would read a newspaper....) and just went to see an AC Milan v Inter pre season friendly (but not very friendly), a dire 0-0 draw, because I love live football. Had to choose a team and my mates told me Milan were more working class and English in roots so went with them. Within 3 weeks I had a season ticket, kept one for the next 4 years. Of course it helped that they were a brilliant team and took me to 2 European Cup finals, but I was much more focussed on them than QPR when I was over there, because I had a commitment to them of my time and a great social group based on Milanistas.

When I got back here and started going to the R's again, my first love was rapidly reasserted, and now I follow Milan's scores with interest but get none of the true supporters high's and lows from them (although I was pretty low after that fiasco v Liverpool a few years ago).

Basically what I'm saying is - if you start going to see a team regularly, develop a good group of mates there, I bet they will begin to matter to you, even if you don't want them to and feel a little guilty about it.

I know exactly what you mean Sylvio from my time in Colorado where I became a Denver Bronco, and here VÃ¥lerenga.

Super idea Dave
I'd officially like to volunteer 4stringer and my good self to issue punishment beatings to under performing players.
We'd also volunteer to travel ahead of the team for all away games, to taste the food and drink and make sure it's up to the required standard of Wubba and SB :)

Sounds great...but go easy on RTID...he really is awful.

I demand an answer as to why Moderators have now taken to deleting people's posts without informing them or anyone else.

If I don't get an answer soon, I will be forced to initiate another boycott of this Board.

Give it a rest me auld mucha, As you well know, the Mods have the right to edit or delete any post they deem necessary. Check the House Rules. IF your post has been removed, I'm guessing it's for a good reason.

Have you considered user error as a possible explanation?

Have you considered user error as a possible explanation?

I have considered that possibility but I quickly realised this user doesn't make errors. Besides, I asked the question an hour and a half ago and both Moderators have declined to comment. That silence says all I need to know.

I don't know what the problem with it was. It was just a light-hearted jest regarding Brighton, Oddball and promiscuous homosexuals. You've been deprived of a highly amusing repartee which no doubt would have brightened your evening with a little chuckle or two, Stanley, and you can thank our over-zealous custodians for your misfortune.

Enough is enough. Its time to take action. The Mods know what they've done and to be honest, I think they're doing this in response to something that happened on this Board weeks ago for which I know I got the blame. They've been waiting to get me back and now they have.

I am hereby commencing with a Boycott of this Board and this time I will not let up until I have redress in this matter.

Justice will be carried out one way or another.

Oh don't go Swords...My whole world would fall apart without your witty and well thought out comments on the boards....I'd miss you like the desert misses the rain..
