We are not getting top 10 with our current defence, 1 or 2 additions to that area and we could certainly threaten.
I do and by some margin We finished 15 points behind Liverpool in 8th ... That's 5 games between success and failure We are at last playing football and I think you may find us a different kettle this season I would be more worried about Norwich as even by most who have watched them do far you look very very weak
People need to be careful not to get carried away. As has been said, our defence is light in numbers really - a few injuries/suspensions and we dont have much depth. Even worse is our strikers. We have Cisse, Zamora and Johnson - at a push Mackie. There is not enough goals there. We can only rely on Cisse and mackie for goals. The other two are not prolific.
Judo, that also goes for a lot of other teams, with possible injuries and suspensions AND lack of depth. We are a lot stonger than many in the Premiership
Fair point. But imo we dont have enough quality in defence - we dont really have a strong leader CB or a strong LB. At LB we have Traore and Fabio, both good players, but not really specialists in the position if that makes sense.
