Should have stuck to coaching in the first place & surely it should be down to the new manager to determine the make of his coaching team etc.

People in the game seem to speak extremely highly of him and he's been trusted with some great jobs at the FA which aren't easy gigs to get.

Agree though, he was a very poor manager but I'd love to see how he'd have done if the original remit to consolidate and build a young team was stuck to rather than Fernandes wading in and demanding promotion because he's pissing money.

Les and CR stabilised the Club after Harry, brought in some young and promising player who could be the backbone of the Team for years, who we have all wanted for years, and improved performances of some of the established players. The results were only average, but with such changes that wasn't surprising. Ramsey is for sure a very good coach at least and it would be a big bonus for the Club to have him supporting a new Head Coach or Manager. Really hope we get him back under whoever.

Just goes to show the gulf in difficulty between being a manager and a coach. Two completely different jobs. There are several players who have been vastly improved under Ramsey' coaching.
I said I wanted Ramsey the coach back, not Ramsey the manager. Big difference.
