The Bullard thing is getting boring now, he's not going to play for us again, there's demand for his services now and he doesn't want to play for us, it's simply a case of getting rid as painlessly as possible.

as has already been said, the rosenior stuff will be an interesting test in the summer. clearly he's a very valuable asset and we need players of his calibre if we are to sustain a genuine promotion push next season. having said that, everyone does have their price, and considering he cost nothing, i don't think its beyond the realms of possibility he may leave.

tribal are linking west ham and wigan with bullard, too.

There was demand last year...... he didnt go anywhere. He is a human who is on a 4 year contract and will not pass up on it just to move clubs when he knows he will get loaned out likely to where he wants to be anyway.

If your that sure... I will gladly but a 20 pound bet on that he will still be our player on the first day of next season, by our player i mean we will still own his contract (to be paid through paypal)??

The transfer window is open long after the first day of the season.

I wouldn't **** about with paypal for £20, if you want a £500 bet that Jimmy Bullard will spend the 2011/2012 season at a club other than Hull City let me know and I'll sort the terms.

    I'm not taking £50 off a student.

Something you'll be grateful for, as next season Jimmy Bullard will definitely be at another club(whether on loan loan or permanent, he will be gone). To be honest, I'm astounded that anyone would think otherwise.

I’m not saying I want him to say; I’m saying it because he is a working man, would you take a pay cut just to get out from the job you’re in now when you still have two years left on arguably double the money you would get elsewhere? There was interest last summer and he didn’t move on due to him not getting offered the right money even though champions league football was on offer at Celtic, he knew he would get farmed out on loan and still pick up 45k a week, he will still be a city player next season unless another club offers a decent deal near his current salary which isn’t pay as you play or a one year deal.

A timely quote from Jimmy, interview just posted on Ipswich's site:

Bullard, who has told Hull head of football operations Adam Pearson that he would like to be with the Blues next season, says he’d be willing to take a reduction on his £45,000-a-week Tigers wage to be back at Portman Road for 2011/12: “It was not previously known but I took a pay cut to join Ipswich in January and I would be happy to play for Ipswich next season on the same arrangements.

“In fact, if that deal was on the table now I would sign it. I gather from what I was told that Hull do not have me in their plans because of the financial situation.

“I told them that I wanted to stay with Ipswich as I have loved it at Portman Road, but I have a feeling that Hull will wait and see if they can get a better deal."

We'll try and move him out permanently, if we can't we'll ship him out on loan on the best deal we can, or we'll pay him off. What we won't do is play him, I think almost everybody(except you now obviously) now accepts this is what will happen.

Cumbrian is right, he will stay for the cash, he won't get it anywhere else. There's no chance of him taking a wage-cut. Brown and Duffen really shafted the club with this desperation buy which has totally backfired. To think he can play most of the season at his age and with his injury record is ridiculous, and I can't see the young lads in the team wanting to carry him when he does play, fair enough he can score the odd goal but he is worse than a luxury player a lot of the time, invisible on the pitch and cant/ wont tackle or work for the team.

I hope you are right, I wouldn't trust his comments but we clearly need shot of him and have done for ages.

I don't either, he's completely full of ****, but at least he's acknowledging that we want him out and I think he would genuinely like to stay there. It does make a deal, even if it involves a pay-off, more likely.

Wasn't there something about £2k on top of his £45k for appearances, increasing a further £2k when another batch of appearances had been made?

I'm not sure if he's stretching the truth a bit here, I heard he agreed to waive the £3k a week appearance pay rise he was supposed to get, so that the Ipswich deal could go through. That being the case, he did technically get £3k less than he would have got if he'd carried on with us, but as we weren't playing him, he wouldn't have got it anyway.

I could be wrong and he might have agreed some reduction to make the deal happen, but going on past performance, I doubt it.

If it is true that he has taken a drop in pay to play for them, why has he only stated it now? Why not at the beginning of his loan? If he had mentioned this at the beginning of his loan period, would he have regained some of the disenchanted fans back on-side?

Something looks brown, smells brown, and I don't need to taste it, to make me feel like it is a pile of ****!!

Wow he waived 3k billy big bollocks imsure he will not get offered more than half his wage anywhere else on a two year deal. Hence meaning he will be our player for the next two years but playing his football else where.

Would concur with what a lot of others have said on this thread.

JB is history as far as Hull City is concerned and now we are in the real business part of the season in terms of players contracts he's spouting off to ensure he gets the best deal.

The only reduction in wages he's banging on about will be the £3k appearance money.

As for Liam Rosenior, he is an intelligent lad who will be loyal to a Club that showed faith in him when others didn't.

That said he wants to play in the PL and is good enough to do so - should we receive a good offer for him from the likes of QPR it will test both the player and the Club's resolve. I am confident he will stay with us at least for next season.

QPR want Kyle Naughton. They tried to nick him off us in January but we blew them out the water with the money we offered Spurs. Now with them getting prem football they have a better chance. Im not knocking Rosenior because he is a good player but i dont think he is good enough for the prem

How many games do you have to play in the Premier League before are deemed "good enough for the prem"?

Liam Rosenior has played 96 games in the Prem.
