They are all out at the moment, SRR. Think about it, there are only 16 shoplifting days until Christmas.

Very good. I did keep all valuables out of sight walking up South Africa Road after the game!

They have all gone into hiding mate,

I started a "Mind The Gap " thread over here and they wanted me banned for it...lol...considering it was on most of their sigs last season, found it a bit hypocritical TBH.
The term "Only sing when you're winning" really does apply to this lot doesnt it. They've had Pearson out posts etc..after what he achieved last season <doh>

Anyway, im sure when they do finally get another win, they'll be back to tell us how much better than us they are....good job the season dosnt end now eh...<laugh>

EDIT: I think they were egerly anticipation the return of Matty Upson...<laugh> <doh>

Mat(e) i totally understand this point of view and our security must come first, but would we rather do it at a lower level?
Im not saying lets go a splash a load of cash around and do as we did (tried) in previous years, but i am saying i think 5Mill would be a bit tight for u to try and secure our position.
Now as in many things, you have to speculate to accumulate and getting players in is no diffrent. We cannot be "timid" in the transfer market if we want to get players we target. Everyone who attends away games complins that we are negative and dont hav a go, so should we expect the same from our owners and staff. A group that goes out and gets what it wants?
We cant "maybe spend a little bit" in case we go down. We have to believe we have a worthy squad and make the correct additions to it. If they are the correct players then they will be with us whether we stay up or go down. Thats TF & HR's job to sort out. These players will cost money because they have a decent future
Just imagine for example we went out and got Ings, Trippier and Drinkwater for example. They would cost us but would add long term value to our squad. They would also see progession in our team.
Simple facts are we cant become an established Prem team "on the cheap"! We have neither the gate receipts or fan base to help out so its mainly down to TF as far as i can see.
Personally, id like to se us give it a real go in the Prem than take the cautious approach. But as we both said, its diffrent opinoins. 5 Mill would relegate us i think ! <ok>

You are right, it's all just variations of the same hopes.

Personally, I still think we have a team and squad good enough to survive if we can get some impetus away and a bit of belief.

For me it's still don't spend big but we can't let others steal a march and improve beyond our capabilities.

If it's 20 million then I'd prefer it to be securing the Chileans and a decent loan or two.

This lad came on for Chelsea as a sub this evening in their Champions League match - with that name he might fit in well with us?

Ruben Loftus-Cheek scored for England Under-19s against Italy last month

The potential inclusion of Loftus-Cheek will undoubtedly excite fans keen to see home-grown talent flourish.

That name makes it sound like we've swapped the squirrel for a resident streaker...
