We should keep him until at least jan transfer window. Let the court case play out & if he goes then so be it. The standard of defeding in the NPC is comical and there will be a lot of other defenders that will dread playing against him. I reckon he'll be the top marksman by Xmas...If he wants to play
I think you are right, LL, but his place in France's World Cup squad might be in jeopardy if he is not playing top-flight football.
I've said this before and I'll say it again. No-one will buy him until the allegations are in the clear. Forget the rumours with NUFC etc. He will be with us until Christmas. Remy will be aware it's a World Cup year and will want to put himself in contention with the squad. Best case scenario for him is to score a bucket load for us until the January transfer window where teams get desperate, re-evaluate their squads and look to buy forwards. Redknapp would have told him this. A determined Remy is a very dangerous prospect for Championship defences and make no mistake about it, we have the best Centre Forward in the league by a country mile.
I trust we are allowing Remy the right of being 'not guilty' until proven otherwise. When the time comes, the system will make the call. In the meantime, I also hopes he stays with us, knuckles down and ............ 'El Pirata' says, bangs in 30 or 40 goals ............... go you good thing!
