Used to like my visits to Loftus Road, usually a very friendly place. If they've still got a team we could be going back next season with them sitting in third place in the Championship with 32 points the same as Leicester, and just 2 points off Burnley with 34 points.

Let's face it if they finish 3rd they would still be favorites for the play offs, though remember saying that about Forest a few years back, when Blackpool ended up winning them.

    You reap what you sow.
How long until Fernandes gets bored?

People said that about Abramovich and he's been at Chelsea 10 years.

Yeah, he seemed to deal with Chelsea's relegation and subsequent £60m fine without much fuss. So little fuss in fact it's almost like neither the relegation nor the fine actually ever happened....

Pity he hadn't come in for us when he was looking for a club to buy.

Abramovich is significantly richer than Fernandes and can more easily afford to bankroll such a club. Chelsea were already a top 4 club when Abramovich took over. He's had success pretty much since the start, would he have stuck about if Chelsea had signed a load of tosh and got relegated.

I was bewildered at the time by QPR's transfer policy at the time that they were promoted. It seemed to be sign a player and ask questions later. The successful promoted teams tend to build on a winning team, rather than rip the heart out of it a buy in a load of experienced (i.e. highly paid) premier league stars. I hope they don't do a Portsmouth mind.

Yes because he's been put off bank rolling them when they went down, 10 years is a long time in football, remember hearing people say 'what will happen to Chelsea when Abramovich gets bored', they were on the brink of going out of business when he took over there.
