Not surprised tbh. The rumours were flying around because so many want him sacked but TF has been wrong before so why stop there? After backing MH he couldn't just get rid so an ultimatum is probably the compromise. Two games three points or you're out. Or something like that. Everyone knows where they stand.

You lot are getting your knickers in a twist over nothing because all we know he has not been sacked, my guess is that he is gone and we will find out tomorrow that it is my mutual agreement!
Hence the not sacked message :)

I'm sorry but there is no official source, are the owners really going to run and tell Ian Taylor that they've sacked Hughes - absolutely not, and as for Sky Sports where is their source, a load of rubbish I don't know what to believe now! But I'm not jumping to conclusions until I here something official!

I still think that TF doesnt have 10-15 million to sack Hughes.Unless Mittal coughed up(cant see it).

I'll be shocked if Hughes does survive - I totally get why Fernandes wanted to give him every chance to succeed........up until now. I think he's only really surviving on his name alone and what he's achieved as a player - let's put it this way, if he was Nigel Adkins right now, would he still be manager of Queens Park Rangers football club?

The issue here is that he's lost the dressing room - it's unbelievably apparent. There is infighting and half the team simply are not motivated. There are some personalities in the game who can manage that (or even prevent it from happening in the first place) but I just don't think Hughes is one of those.

I think at Blackburn and Fulham in pariticular he struck a formula that worked, i.e. created a balanced side, and if you can do that then that's half the battle - results inevitably came. It's when you're faced with a shocking run of form and sucker punch results, such as the opening day defeat to Swansea, that you need a manager of character to motivate their team to bounce back - I believe he lacks this charisma.

Why is it that reports have surfaced today that he lost his temper with the players for the first time at half time against Southampton??? Two months too late!!! I'm not saying a manager should rant and rave like a lunatic, but these flipping footballers are paid too much money not to get a rollicking when their performances and work rate are not at 100%. Anybody earning £40K a week in any other line of work would be sacked on the spot for the kind of dross that some of these guys have been churning out - it's the managers' job to tell them!

I think we, as fans, want to see Hughes screaming his head off on the touch line, kicking every ball, but he doesn't, he stands with his arms folded, shaking his head and generally has this terrible negative disposition that just isn't going to inspire anybody. Please please please Tony, for the sake of the club, the change needs to happen now - if we wait a day longer it really could be too late!

Exactly what I said, theyve asked him to resign, he said no. Now theyre working out what to do next. Obviously they couldnt fix it for tonight but they should have a new man to take the Thursday training at the latest.

He only has to pay ~25% of the fee as he has 3 other big shareholders.

We will see tomorrow when the news comes out if hes taken training or not. Were in big trouble if hes at Harlington tomorrow morning.

I would hazard a guess that not everyone on here is a fan of talk sport, but driving back from a nocturnal visit to the hell hole that is Ikea, I was listening to Stan Collimore, again I know that he is not everyone's cup of Rosie, but I could not argue with anything he said. Furthermore, he confirmed what I have been saying for the past 2mths, TF et al have tried to bypass a couple of natural development steps and have not grown organically like Naarich and Swansea and others have done. As a result of going from zero to 100 miles an hour we have thrown a shed load of money at establishing ourselves in the Prem this season, but it looks like it might well back fire and those people who I have classed as doom merchants in the past for saying weare going to be the next Pompey, might be preparing themselves for the big"I told you so".

Upon reflection, I think little old QPR should be buying Mbia, Andrew Johnson and Diakite, but what the hell are we doing with Cesar, Fabio, Traore, SWP, JS Park and I would argue Granero. TF and MH have been like a pair of 6 year old kids in a sweetshop and now the pair of them have stuffed themselves and have stomach aches because some of the sweets had past their sell by dates and have started to go off!

I suspect that the board are realising that there is no easy get out of jail card here because I think MH and his advisors are going to sit tight so that if he is kicked out they are going to have to pay up big time, so there is little chance of his walking of his own accord.

Perhaps there is one last calculation they need to work out quick and then decide whether to roll the dice again and get rid in favour of another manager. Cost of MH and coaching team exit added to on boarding expense of new manager and January sale panic buy, Vs cost of losing out on higher Prem Sky income next year.

To my mind they should be saying to Harry that the world and his wife keep saying that on paper this QPR squad should be halfway up the table as is, so you prove them right and make sure that is where we are come May and then we can talk about spending for next term.

I've stated on here before for my dislike of a certain Mr V Jones and what he did to our club. But I'd rather him in charge at OT rather than what we have now... The worse manager ever! In our history... that is all.. Time for my bed. Hopefully he will be gone the by the next time I get an oppotunity to visit our board. Whoever takes over can do no worse.
