Would not be surprised if Warnock has told the players , Amit and Tony to ignore any crap he says to the TV or press, as it's all about building his 'straight talking Yorkshireman'/ 'not afraid of controversy' image for his post management career as a pundit. As for his man management skills, in my experience humiliating someone in public rarely makes them respect you more. Perhaps he just needs to expand his vocabulary a bit - if that tackle was an 'absolute disgrace' how does he describe a genuinely nasty one that breaks a leg with intent? And yes I do realise that he was probably talking about needless suspension rather than the tackle as the 'disgrace', but that is just bizarre use of English.
I thought it was over the top tbh and should have remained "in-house". Not sure what a public humiliation will do for Traore's delicate confidence?!! A mistake by NW!!
