Murphy a little too close to his sell by date for me. Haven't got a problem with Nelson, Johnson or Green, good additions in my opinion. But Murphy, a few too many miles on the clock!
Danny Murphy has medical as Blackburn Rovers close in http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.u...phy_has_medical_as_Blackburn_Rovers_close_in/
Glad we didnt get him, we are in real trouble if we are going up against NPC clubs who are in turmoil for players.
No, as opposed to touching my little red button that causes natural disasters in Northern Australia when people there piss me off.
Good afternoon, article editor Jerel. I thought we had spanked you so hard last time you were on this board that you had left for good.................................obviously not! (the extra ............are just for you, my lovely. XXX)
Hello Senior Member Bethany. As I remember it, I made some trifling spelling/grammatical error in one of my rushed posts, which led you to denounce my article-editing abilities, before getting all angry about me calling you a 'red' and being endearing. If that constitutes a 'spanking' in your eyes, I suggest you don't go near BDSM dungeons any time soon. ............. .... . Regards, Hashem.
Okay Jerel, at peace here....A serious question. I have relatives in Leeds, fairly in the know they tell me. So they said that Leeds and Warnock are not quite the happy bunch they could be. Warnock was expected to do a bit better than he did last season and Leeds have not come up with the money Colin expected. I am told there could be a storm soon....any truth? (Not a windup question honest)
You've met your match there Jerel. Don't anger our Betty or she'll chew you up and spit you out. Just a friendly warning!
Why would somebody from London support Leeds? Surely everyone should follow their local Club? (I'm exempt cos the Irish League is Mickey Mouse )
Nottingham Forest are fluttering their eyelashes at him Bethy, hope he goes there , they're a great club, Champions of Europe....dontcha know!
That is exactly what I have heard too, so interested to see if Paddy holds off signing till he sees where Colin ends up. Trying to see if Jerel knew anything as well, but he has gone quiet
Well there's a takeover an' that? They ITK about what's going on there? Oi, you can't say 'our Betty'; that's demeaning to women.

The Lancashire Telegraph understands Rangers upped their offer to the former England international at the 11th hour – but Rovers returned with counter terms to secure Murphy's services for the Championship campaign. Murphy had already turned down offers from QPR and Premier League new boys West Ham United to travel to East Lancashire for talks and a medical on Friday. And, when QPR’s Malaysian chairman Tony Fernandes sanctioned a last minute second offer to the 35-year-old, his fellow countryman and Rovers new supremo Shebby Singh responded in kind to complete the deal. It is understood the 35-year-old midfielder put pen to paper on a pre contract deal on Saturday evening, having agreed a two-year contract. It is expected to be confirmed by Rovers today. Rovers are also chasing Newcastle United duo Leon Best and Dan Gosling – although reports from Australia claiming Harry Kewell, 33, is close to a move to Ewood are understood to be wide of the mark. The former Leeds and Liverpool midfielder is expected at Brockhall for ‘tests’ today, after quitting Melbourne Victory and returning to England for family reasons, but the Lancashire Telegraph understands any move to Rovers is highly unlikely. The 25-year-old former Southampton and Coventry man is currently mulling over his future having been told by the Magpies he is way down their striking pecking order. Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is also believed to have given former Everton midfielder Dan Gosling permission to speak to Rovers about a potential loan deal. Murphy's capture is the first sign that Rovers owners Venky’s are finally prepared to provide a ‘decent’ budget, with a lucrative package also understood to be on offer to Best. Rovers have several other targets on their radar, in both midfield and up front, as they look to strengthen their squad to push for an instant Premier League return. The club are hopeful former defender Colin Hendry will join the coaching staff this week, while further appointments could be made. Meanwhile it is understood Rovers director Vineeth Rao, a close friend to owners Venky’s, will take a backward step in terms of influence at the club. It is also believed youth charity ‘The Prince’s Trust’ will continue to have their name splashed on the front of the shirts next season.
