Ginge August is always the time for eternal optimism, as an older and wiser Chelsea fan I'm sure you know what I mean when I say it's always been The Arsenal, Spuds and West Ham Good luck to QPR anyway, would be nice to have 3 local clubs in the Prem. 3rd smallest London borough and what not
Of course we are excited it took hard work ... we were great on the pitch yet have a couple of ****s trying to wreck everything off it.
I entirely agree with you when you say City are using United's name to try and get success. Whilst our clubs are in a small area, we hastened to forget they are highly populated which is another thing investors look at.
The way the Premiership is today... we are well equipped i think to survive in fact i think we could finish higher than most of our board thinks .. we really play great football I am very proud of how we won it last year ... 25 clean sheets and Adel will impact i am certain. Faurlin is very classy ... we have a very good chance
DJ Campbell is a good buy as well, for a poultry £1.2m that's good business, he could easily have gone for twice if not three times that, the defence isn't great but Paddy Kenny is a top keeper, Smith is also a decent player at this level as well.
Your premiership life will depend on your defences ability to go some way in replicating some of those 25 clean sheets as pretty football won't for sure.
We don't play pretty football, we play good football we grind out results when we have to and have a few match winners to boot.... there certainly isn't a more skilful player in the premiership than Adel Taarabt
Great But it will be harder against Chelsea, United, Arsenal, Liverpool & City he won't get the service
Taarabt is a very skillful player at Championship level but is fairly unproven in the PL and has his flaws. I personally think Nani is a more skillful player but Taarabt is right up there and I think he will be a hit in the PL.
Also nowhere near as much time on the ball in the Prem and up against a lot more combative defence and midfielders
Well said, The ball g w t d t, ( mate, change that name to something more familiar. I don't know what to call you... The ball? Dave? Dave Thomas? The ball goes wide? T B G W T D T.... WTF! ) Although tbh tbgwtdt, I think you and I are on pretty much the same wavelength judging by previous posts, nice one.
Ah ok so a fair few then.... I hope to go to: QPR Tottenham Wigan Wolves Everton Man City Norwich Fulham Villa Liverpool Any FA Cup away games we get.... I went to City last season and yeah the ground is very nice.... mind you we were on the wrong side of the result but we'll never give up trying The funniest thing was meeting some citeh fans who were generally surprised to see me and my mates drive up from london to manchester to watch the game... it was so funny.... They're obviously not the die hard away fans then!
District Are you going to write any articles bigging up City's chances so that the United toe rags can get heated about? Last season's were legendary mate
Providing City do the business on Sunday yes, I will be needing my ammunition It is so funny how fearful they are getting. Deep down they realise they are on the verge of becoming Manchester's 2nd club but just refuse to accept it
This is all a bit too friendly for me. I don't remember Chelsea fans being able to write, their knuckles hurt too much from scraping along the floor. mind you, its 15 years since they bothered to speak to us so I suppose some of them got an education. How things change, saw one of them on 606 calling us pikeys! The cheek of it!
QPR Vs Chelsea is about much more than football. But while we are discussing being off topic, perhaps you and your chelsea mates couuld toddle off back to your own board with your plans for away matches next season
