I never decided to start discussing Barcelona Accounts over a Chelsea - QPR Discussion board.

Have to agree to disagree there. I personally don't care if a Chelsea fan is someone from Malaysia that gets up at 3am at local time to watch us, or someone that has followed Chelsea for best part of two decades like myself and is a match day fan from South West London. To me, they are no less or more of a fan than I am.

I believe there is a big difference between a "fan" and a "supporter", the latter being people like myself, Ginger, SW6 and the other Chelsea fans on this thread that buy tickets for the games, follow the team up and done the country etc and spend a large amount of money and livelihood investing in the club. A "fan" in my view is someone that follows the club, watches the games, buys the odd shirt and merchandise etc but doesn't invest as much time/money in the team as a supporter.

In my view fan or supporter we are no different, and being one, doesn't make you any better than the other. I don't see how you can be any less of a fan whether you are a stockbrocker from Surrey, or a builder from Battersea.

If you go to the season ticket areas at the Bridge like the MH stand and Shed, you will see the same faces there pretty much every week, everyone in those stands seems to know each other. Pretty much same with any club, whether it be Crewe, Newcastle or whoever.

Unless you go the Bridge often, I don't see how you can be in a position to speculate on such matters. It would be like me saying the same thing with Loftus Road.

Just to add my two pennth to this thread.

I am looking forward to playing Chelsea again in the top flight. It has been too long since our paths crossed in the top league. As a Rangers fan, i would love to say it will be the easiest 6 points we will get this season, but hang on, I am a realist. If we can get two draws off CFC and not lose either game I will be happy, even a draw where we just keep the ball and don't give the opposition a chance to use it I will be happy, and if Adel plays out of his skin and earns a move because of his performances and goals I will be happy.

Bottom line, Chelsea are used to premier footie, new manager may or may not make a success of it there, but I am glad NW is in charge for our games (unless there has been some major change inboardrom) because he will motivate the team to win and make it hard for chelsea to win.

I have seen some cracking games against Chelsea, and my first ever away game for the R's was at Stamford Bridge where we won 2-0. Al I remember my dad telling me was "Son, if Rangers score stay sitting down and don't jump up" because we were seriously out numbered (we were in the stand opposite the pensioners stand)......and when we did score...I did jump up with about another 150 -200 QPR fans. Needlesss to say that on the train n the way home colours were covered up.

I jus hope that when the game is played, regardless of score, it is played with the ball on the deck with Rangers showing that hey deserve to be back in the big time again...and if we nick a 1-0 win...I will be happy...but would settle for a point right now.

Science, moral and societal reforms in ratio and balance .. we can all spout, leak and even lactate ... mumbo jumbo? Chelsea can't buy what we have ... and that know this deep inside.

Predictable, safe, join the masses and wear a CFC shirt thinking it was made by Gucci ... Does not compute, Does not Compute

Chelsea are well known for being the great entertainers. We had a great side in the 60s and early 70s which was sadly broken up when we had to funds stadium developments and sell all our best players etc. We also had a great side in the 90s as well so we know all about good football.

There was a time when we had little midfielders like Pat Nevin, Speedie etc and it was Arsenal (who are now widely acclaimed as the great entertainers) who had all the power and prowess and were tagged as boring under the George Graham days in particular.

I don't think many Chelsea fans are particularly bothered QPR are up anymore than they would be with Swansea or Norwich. Only Milwall and Leeds would raise a few eyebrows but we have to be focused on winning every game possible whoever the opposition. I'm pleased for QPR fans that they have come up and with West Ham's relegation I feel QPR will be a fantastic addition to the PL. QPR aren't as big a club as West Ham not anywhere near but these days they play a better style of football which is catching on the eye (as do Swansea). I'd like to see more teams like WBA, Blackpool, QPR and Swansea come up as opposed to the likes of Birmingham and Leicester who are just powerhouses

I have been to the Bridge (had to won't say why however) ... there is little soul there it reminds me of the Film Matrix: where humans are used as battery power.

I'll take success in any form. To me, the League always has been the pinnacle. If we win the European cup then great, but most CFC fans would take the league every time.

Atmosphere is poor at most home grounds this days, QPR included. Everyone knows away support is where it's at <party>

You did have a great team of course and without doubt the best shorts (with the strip and the numbers) Ian Hutchinson, Charlie Cooke, Osgood, Webb. We could i am sure exchange history and of course you have been very successful but what happened to the soul... ? I pray we never go the same way

    Here here!!

In 2009/10: 103 goals in a single season and won the double . Boring dish??? You don't have a clue.

See how well your brand of football stands up against the big boys before sprouting rubbish.

Our football on the pitch already has Big Boy. I can't predict results but i am an expert on brands. (I would take the pepsi challenge on that). Chelsea is a super brand full of artificial additives and generally not good for you.

Refreshing Organic Ideas and Ideals are coming soon that I can predict
