    No thanks. He'd represent a return to the old days where we sign players from the top clubs, on big wages, that are well past their best.

    Theres a reason Alex is not in the chelsea first team, hes not good enough, they would rather have a liability like luiz, who actually has some class when on the ball than a big lump who falls out with managers.

    We need a youngster who will be good for the future not some old prick, megadeath usually has reasonable taste but Alex is a no for me, he would do a job but why waste the money? spend it on a youngster, Williamson is better than Alex, remember Chelsea v Newcastle at St James last season? how did we get the draw?
