Iam disgusted to be honest. We are being managed and run by a bunch of amateurs. How can they be so successful in other business then a complete disaster in Football
David McIntyre's take http://davidmcintyre.wordpress.com/...s-is-old-news-what-happens-next-is-important/
The debt figure at the start of that piece is understated by some £60m; QPR's debt is actually £177m, not £117m.
Plenty of people were disgusted at how were run but were told to **** off and support Fulham etc The signings on the whole have been the worst in all of football. Hughes, redknapp, beard and fernandes have a lot to answer for. Still, I'm sure the managers did well for themselves.
Administration? I've always backed Tony, as I know you have, but having read that piece by McIntyre, I think I'm coming round to his way of thinking. Fernandes inherited a Premier League Club and everything since has been nothing short of a disaster! Fernandes and Beard have had a complete mare and our club could well pay the ultimate price. Trouble is, if Tony reads enough views like this, he may well quit, which could bring the day of judgement even closer. Could the Mittals be our saviours?
It's TF and the directors that are underwriting the debts which, I presume, means that like Roman at Chelsea, the money is gone. Administration comes when creditors aren't paid, there's no evidence of that yet unless the directors want their money back...
Now I'm really saddened, I preffered it when I was being proclaimed as the proverbial broken record. It's no more than an opinion, keep the faith, Tony will come good as long as he doesn't have a viable excuse to bail out - which ungrateful, baying fans would provide. Bright and Brighter I say
Nah, it's just a computer simulation, it's not real. http://www.simulation-argument.com/simulation.html Did you honestly think Zamora was a real footballer?
We were a PL club in name only, we had a champ squad and a L1 stadium and training ground. It was the worst time to buy us..well apart from now. Then we blew a ****load of money on has beens and had CL spending with a champ squad. I still prefer the Warnock team to this one.
What's your take Roller? McIntyre is a good journalist and perhaps he is right, but (like me) he's picked a line and is sticking to it. Bits of it are persuasive, but a lot isn't to me. It's not his job to offer solutions, but if we believe this we might as well give up now. Well, it backs up your existing prejudice. Really good writing will change your mind, not entrench your bias. We've done administration and just about survived it mate. Not that I think we're anywhere near that. TF inherited a club with no identity or strategy and without the personnel to stay in the Prem - Swansea, and even ****ing Norwich - had these things. I still think we lack identity, but the strategy has been clear - spend to stay up/get up...sadly for all its failed so far. But read the McIntyre stuff again, the potential profit from Old Oak Common dwarfs what has been invested (wasted) to date. He thinks Fernandes' record at the club means he won't succeed on the property development, I would say his record with Air Asia/Tune Group and the fact that despite throwing cash at the club his personal worth grew by 25% last year shows the opposite. Just opinions. If he walks and asks for his money back, which he of all people knows is impossible, we go into administration super rapidly. Mittals? I have never thought Mittal himself, the football agnostic part time Chelsea supporter, has ver really had any interest in the club, but he may be interested in the property opportunities the stadium provides - same as Fernandes, who does actually like the club and the game, I think. It's very stark on paper isn't it? We really could do with being promoted this year........
With £177m owed to them? Never. Only way they could walk away is if they wipe the debt away so someone else could take over. Either way we as a club will be fine. And besides, who could walk away from the pride of west London?
