Uncomfortable for Town still. Sitting back and lumping it forward is a dangerous game for us to be playing.

We’ve absolutely mugged QPR off there. Then again, if QPR had scored I’m sure there’d have been a reaction.

    The Town go marching on.

Tough game to win when not at our best,a sign of a good team, and we saw the game out well for once.

Well played boys. Impressed by Harry today.

Thought Clarke was excellent when he came, driving forward, unlike JD who is to ponderous and likes to go backwards more than forwards.
Morsy immense again, everyone put in a shift there!!

Not sure we mugged them, we worked them hard and a lot of their players were struggling with cramp and tiredness, certainly more than we were.

What do they say about teams who aren't at their best and still find away to win.
9 out of 9, about 5 more points than my most optimistic thoughts before we kicked off at Sunderland.
But again, plenty of evidence of a need to improve and strengthen further before the window closes. And for all we know Sunderland, Stoke and QPR could be the teams relegated this year, so, dangerous to draw too many conclusions but enjoying the start.

This is where we will have the upper hand as the season goes on - all the clubs that keep chopping and changing managers are not going to be able to compete with us. You can’t build the condition that our players are in in just a matter of weeks. Before we even start the season there are seven managers who have had no time at all.

Never thought we would start with 3 wins out of 3 and with the same team that finished last season apart from the GK and at the start of the season you would say that Hladky was definitely a downgrade from Walton. The thing that strikes me about this squad is they are genuinely seem to like each other, the togetherness is fantastic to see. I am sure that Kmc and his staff will want this to continue with any new players they bring in. Leeds next and thought I would miss that 1 due to train strike but my nephew is a season ticket holder (uncle knows best) and he has already spoken to his stepfather who is driving us to the game - happy days

I thought it was a very decent performance yesterday but as with all the games so far still room for improvement. I was actually a lot more impressed with QPR than I was expecting, they really didn't allow us much space in their half and played pretty deep. It definitely felt like we were the home team but QPR were dangerous going forwards, especially the unheard of raw talent of Armstrong who gave Woolfenden and Donacien a torrid time. We were sloppy a couple of times at the back but other than that we didn't do much wrong without being at our fluid best. We looked good first 10/15 mins and starred the 2nd half better but I'd say for the first 65 mins it could've gone either way.

We looked more like the likely winners once Armstrong went off and they brought on another youngster and lost that central attacking presence upfront. Then after Chaplin got the goal we controlled the game out as QPR looked to open up more.

I thought no one was awful but no one was brilliant, I'd give MOM to Burgess, who looks formidable at this level.
