Just seen on Sky news that all 7 countries have issued a joint statement saying that FIFA will not budge & they will not "put their players in that position".

Cowards!

They should have issued a statement saying that if FIFA do not back down, all 7 teams will withdraw from the WC. They have power to do this, but prefer to hide behind FIFA.

They're only in it for the money & the fame. All of them.

I am well and truly sickened by this whole World Cup fiasco being played out in Qatar.

The whole thing is corrupt from the selection of Qatar in the first place, the switch from a summer tournament to winter, the human rights sportswashing, LGBT (whatever the bloody acronym is) no rights issue, the pathetic back tracking of FIFA over the wearing of an armband, the weak nature of teams not to follow it through and the icing on the cake VA ****ing R making that farcical decision - the whole thing is bent and that is something from a country with no gay rights!!!!
