Because they're unable to host it in the agreed time periods and everything is having to be moved about just to accomodate a tournament in a country where no bugger lives and you can't drink or be a woman. Australia and the others who bid were turned down and it now turns out the country who beat them to it can't even host a summer tournament. That's ridiculous and begs the question what exactly did FIFA see in their tender?
Oh no, it'll ruin European football's precious schedule. We can't have that, can we? FIFA ****ed up, it's not Qatar's fault. To take Qatar's chance away would be unfair. However I do agree that America and Australia should be covered by insurance.
