Why should it be taken off Qatar?

They've got as much right to host it as the next.

Because they're unable to host it in the agreed time periods and everything is having to be moved about just to accomodate a tournament in a country where no bugger lives and you can't drink or be a woman. Australia and the others who bid were turned down and it now turns out the country who beat them to it can't even host a summer tournament. That's ridiculous and begs the question what exactly did FIFA see in their tender?

Oh no, it'll ruin European football's precious schedule. We can't have that, can we?

FIFA ****ed up, it's not Qatar's fault. To take Qatar's chance away would be unfair.

However I do agree that America and Australia should be covered by insurance.

Of course its Qatar's fault, how the F do you think they won the bid without bribes and incentives. FIFA didn't make a crap decision all by themselves and for no reason.

Qatar paid the money, fair enough.

Fifa should have made a football-based decision, they didn't.

It's winter or not at all for me....

Summer would be a complete disaster and dangerous for the fans. (Heat Wise) Recipe 40c+ drink (alcohol) where you can actually fry an egg on your car bonnet = full hospitals with heat stroke and worst.

And PLT who said you can't drink? Iv'e been pissed a few times here ... most of the better hotels have bars.

The US shouldnt get the World Cup again until they switch to a relegation and promotion system.

If you did get it again, would you ask Diana Ross to do the opening ceremony again?

<laugh> I assume you refer to a certain Chris Waddle?

Ironically the best penalty I've think I have seen was by an England player...

That or Beckham v Portugal in 2004. That's still in orbit.

Australia are taking legal action as they spent millions bidding for a summer event and the terms of the bid are now being changed, so they believe they should be compensated.
