Wow, what an idiot you are. Andreas Iniesta - Regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world, extremely talented, yet he only got 9 assists and 2 goals last season. Rafael van der Vaart - He got 11 goals and 7 assists last season, oh, he must be much better than Iniesta then.
I think the more telling stats are that the value of the Malaga squad was about 69M and the value of the Chelsea squad was about 385M. Cazorla was passing to Van Nistleroy and Mata was passing to Drogba.
'I understand that's it not all about stats' You're not too great at reading are you? I never said Cazorla wasn't better than Mata, I just asked why you think that he definitely is, as of yet all you've done is say things that have no weight.
If Cazorla was, as has been so vehemently argued on this thread, a World Class Attacking Midfielder with the flexibility to play right across the breadth of the pitch with equal success, he wouldn't be available for £20M, would command wages that would make RVP blush, would be on the shopping list of every major Club in the world and frankly wouldn't be going anywhere near Arsenal Football Club.
I can confirm from his childish insults with anyone who doesn't agree with him that Zlatan is very young, and loves to troll.
There is very few players in the world at the moment that would be able to break up Real's attacking midfield three of Ronaldo, Ozil and Di Maria, and Cazorla isn't one of them.
I like Cazorla and would be more than happy for him to join us but there are many players i would have over him (whether we would/could get them is different). Hazard, Gotze, Ronaldo, Messi, Silva, Mata, Kagawa, Robben, Ribery, yaya toure (when he plays AM), VDV, Pastore, Ozil, Kaka, Ineista, Fab, Pedro, Sanchez (thats just of the top of my head) and there are many in that list I don't consider world class. But don't get me wrong I think he would be a terrific buy for us as we especially lack creativity in the final third but don't make him out to be the messiah.
I don't know about all of them, but certainly there are other options (don't think many of them will be up for sale though) than Cazorla if Malaga change their minds.
A very rash and opinionated statement. The story in Spain is that this guy will replace Xavi in the Spanish national team this year. Unfortunately, the general view in England is so anti-Arsenal that your statement is repeated by many, but the reality is that for foreign players Arsenal is still the destination of choice, due not only to their ability to guarantee CL football, but also due to the manager who is vastly respected. Every year we go through this crap where Arsenal is ridiculed and written off. And every year people like you end up looking like morons. Of course, like true half-wits, you return the next year saying exactly the same ******ed crap, and once again end up looking like complete knobs. I would worry about how Liverpool's group of failures will perform, rather than trying to make up reasons why Arsenal will not.
I don't think it's too controversial to think it odd that the supposed world-class star player of Spain's fourth team would be so readily and cheaply available for, and willing to go to, a team realistically unlikely to finish above third in England.
Ah finally the bitter sour grapes comes out to fruition, which is what this whole thread has turned into by opposing fans masking their bitterness at AFC through pretending to be bringing up some 'arguments'. Fact is, the haters are not happy at Arsenal because we are doing good things in the transfer market, and signing top quality players. It's very easy to prove as well, because when you have such desperate arguments as David, it just proves his real agenda is his bitterness at Arsenal making good progress to strengthening the team. For example he says why only 20 million pounds? First of all, we got him for cheaper, :-D. But why the bargain price? I don't know if you've been watching the news or not, but Malaga have debts they need to pay ASAP, and if the debts are not paid, Malaga as a football club will be in some serious trouble, so they need all the money they can get right now, their not in any position to be bargaining for high prices because clubs know they need any money they can get. So if Malaga want to play hard ball, a club can simply say fine, we won't pay anything, now let's see who loses. So David, you can stay bitter, watch top class players coming to Arsenal, as the saying goes, let the haters hate, and oh yeah, eat a d--k.
Malaga have debts they have to pay, so they need the money, is that too hard for you to grasp? As for not willing to go to a team unlikely to finish above 3rd, you do realise this is a player who signed for MALAGA, LOL, good God some of your arguments are so bad, it's beyond pitiful. And while AFC haven't had the best success of late, AFC still remains a very attractive top class team to join for many players, this fact again shows how little you know. Sour grapes is all you have.
I think it is more realistic to say that if Arsenal finished third last year with the poor start they had, the injuries, and everything else, it is very probable they will finish above that this year.
No need to be sorry, you can't help it. I am just pointing out that nearly everyone thought Arsenal were dreadful at the start last year, and many said they were bad at the end as well. I can pull up endless articles that say that Arsenal couldn't have been worse. I can pull up articles, even from Arsenal fans that say that the players we had to play last year were not good enough. Now you say you think that will happen again only we will finish lower, but without all that Pre-season crap? And I am being ridiculous?
He's not available for £20 million, he has a buy out clause of 35 million Euros I believe, which is actually still below his market value. In regards to his wages, he hasn't played for a European powerhouse yet, which is what he is about to do, every player that takes that step up start off with relatively low wages in comparison to other players at the same level who have been around a little longer. Again, lets look at the Mata transfer from last season, only Asenal and Chelsea were interested, now, in Cazorla, it was Arsenal and Tottenham. Some of you are so hypocritical.
