Firstly, welcome to punters club Will.i.am. With Mabon removed the average was - £27.50, that's your starting point. Not a bad first effort with only a modest loss of £2.20 puts you in 8th place.
A lot of losers this week, a lot of losers!
Proving the old saying that gambling is a mug's game with £30 losses were; Mikraswan, beppeswan, falseteeth, outsider, and glamexile.
The weeks biggest winners were Daimungeezer (£29.10) and Shellbelle (£24.10).
Great early form from Daimun and remarkable consistency being shown by our leader Shellbelle.

The legend that is Daiswan also picked up yet another small profit to keep him in 3rd place.

What a week for the punters! Only 5 who bet lost resulting in the virtual bookies taking a £108.10 hit.
The 5 losers were; Mikraswan (£8), Swanselona (£8), billybjack (£12.70), will.i.am (£13.80) and falseteeth (£13.80).
The biggest winners were Glamexile (£35.50),debutant ban monkey Gerrez (£24.90), and the superior life form that is DaiSwan £20.30.
A special mention for plucky Beppeswan who despite lying amongst the no-shows in the table has turned up every week and finally made a handsome profit of £19.80....has he turned the corner? I doubt it, but it was a great effort nevertheless!

Did any of you ever get to see the great race horse that was 'Barracuda' in action?
His jockey would always keep him right at the back, regardless of which other horses were in the field, in order to keep him out of harms way and avoid getting boxed in....this would sometimes mean he was 30 odd lengths behind the leader as he approached the second to last bend....
That's when he would make his move. He'd snake around the outside, meaning he'd cover a greater distance than his competitors, and start to move up through the field as he rounded the second to last bend.
Then he'd hit the straight and eat up the ground before joining the back of the leading pack.
Coming around the last bend he'd move up to 3rd ish, again going the long way around the outside....then he'd blast everyone away coming down the home straight, sometimes winning by 10+ lengths.
He was majestic

...and so is Beppeswan who has just made his second big profit of £24.50...my friends, he is making his move. Hold tight.
Others in the black this week were; Falseteeth (£21), Glamexile, Mustyfrog and of course Shellebelle (each winning £18.80). Will.i.am won £18.40 and Mikraswan turned in a respectable £8.80

The rest are all losers. This weeks John Hughes award goes to myself for turning in another miserable - £30.
Others who lost £30 include; brb,(whisper it quietly but I think he has a gambling problem...he just can't resist dem odds) Neveroffsideref and our esteemed colleague DaiswanHuw'smate.
