Shearer's about as good a pundit as he is a manager. Bloody boring, too.

Andy Townsend wins it hands down, no other pundit has made me turn the sound off more, as much for the obvious things he misses as the ****e he comes out with, there's times I'm convinced he must be watching something else.

Robbie Earle's not bad, he's back commentating after his little exile over the WC/dutch ticket thing.

As for MOTD and Murray, a conversation between him and Jason Roberts is marvelous for insomnia, other than that I can't see any reason for one! Incredibly he was worse covering the darts 2 weeks ago. I don't know how the tit fell into these plum jobs, he was a DJ and couldn't even do that on his own, he was the sidekick of that 'festival bike', Edith Bowlegs! Someone said he showed Utd bias...must the only Liverpool supporter that does! I thought thats how he got the gig on MOTD2, couldn't be uglier than Chiles, and a scouser to appease Hansen and Lawro. :)

Being a supporter of a league 2 team biased punditry is not too much of an issue, not having sky also restricts the number that I come across. For me Beglin is the worst, just find his comments so predictable, I hate pundits who spend the game telling what I can clearly see for myself. But the funniest thing this season has been the change in Savages approach to QPR, earlier in the season when his mate was in charge he stated that QPR have signed brilliant players who just needed time to adapt, within a week of Harry taking over he was on final score stating that too many average players had been signed for too much money and that they were going down!

Agreed, he's definitely the one I hate most too. It doesn't help that he's a Chelsea **** but it's the insuffereable ability he has to get things totally wrong does my head in. Earlier in the season he spent one of the England games saying Lennon needed to stay on the wing and not cut inside, he grabbed 2 assists in the game by coming off the wing and still he claimed the first one was due to Lennon staying out on the wing. I'm still not sure he knows what the wing is. I saw a funny bit in the paper the otherday saying he's the only adult who uses the term "goalie" :D

Which game was it where Jamie Redknapp constantly interrupted Graeme Souness, who gave him the most menacing evils?

Wait 'til they play the charity five-a-sides <yikes>

YV - I kid you not, I have sat there in silence rather than listen to him. When I've had mates round and its not so...agreeable!...to the turn the sound off, I've sat there with my bike racing earplugs in...saves me listenin to them eedjits too! :D

I wish they would do away with the lot of them, and show more of the games, who wants to know what they though of so in so,or what he though should have happened.

The worst piece of commentary/punditry still lives in my memory... that penalty shoot-out when Batty went up for the penalty and I think it was Andy Townsend asking Ron Atkinson if Batty will score it, "yes or no Ron". Ron said "yes" as Batty was running up, the rest is history.

    a) Why would you ask someone that question as the guy was running up to take the pen?! --> plank
    b) Why would you answer that question if it was asked as the guy was running up to take the pen?! --> plank

    Pair of planks.

Kevin Keegan was the absolute pits when ITV had him as a commentator.
