I don't know about Talksport but when Pardew joined Newcastle, Warnock was on MotD and had a bit of a go at Saints, I think he said that Pardew was treated "absolutely terribly" by Cortese.
If this is true, no wonder negotiations are taking so long.. Cortese is probably being very coy when it comes to dealing with Warnock!
Warnock used to have a programme with Alan Brazil and made his feelings towards Saints management perfectly clear - football is a small world and what goes around, comes around!
