In his interview on OS Nigel seems to be opening the door slightly for Jason. Personally if he thinks Puncheon is worth a second go that's fine with me.

Everyone deserves a second chance don't they?

i agree - there is a possibility of him returing IMO if both parties feel it's in the best interests

If Puncheon is willing to put effort in, he could be useful as there are a lot of cup games before Wembley<laugh> He said in his recent interview that he was carrying a reputation from his past and that the dressing room knew that he didn't have an attitude problem. This is borne out by the fact that some team members reportedly are still in touch with him. I say that if we need him give him a chance and if we don't the club should facilitate rather than block his transfer. Adkins said he's being assessed to see what shape he's in...he may be Premier League fit but is he Saints fit<laugh>

I've said for a while we should get him back. He would be a fool not to be pleading with NA to get a second chance, outside of the prem this is the place to be. If he does genuiley show a desire to play then lets give him a chance to rescue his career.

If he puts the effort in, I dont see why not. If he looks uninterested or unsettled the team however I hope he's shown the door!

I'm sure Puncheon will want to keep everyone sweet as he doesn't know what the future holds. He says he needs to be playing and I can understand that...unfortunately he was loaned to a team that then got SWP in.

His contract runs out in the summer, so he'd be playing to impress potential suitors. Last thing he'll want to do is balls up his chance of playing.

The whole situation is ridiculous. I have people I can't stand at work, others have people they can't stand at work. However at the end of the day you do whatever it takes to make whatever you're doing a success. Adkins and Puncheon may not see eye to eye, however they should have found a way to work together. Hopefully they can now do this, this situation is pathetic, petty and small time.

Joey B I take your point but this is about everyone pulling together in one direction as a team. If you have one bad apple as a manager you either retrain them or get rid! It will be Nigel's decision.

I'm getting seriously bored of this Puncheon saga now. I'm going to put the lad out of his misery and drop him off in the middle of Millbrook tonight. Its like "I am legend" all over again that place! ( shivers)
