The fans absolutely hate him. They’ve taken 12 points from their last 21 league games and have won once at home in eight months. He’s got them in to a relegation fight with his anti-football style. As at Stoke the fans and players just get bored by it.I thought this was a strange one as he would be the man to have in a relegation fight.
He kept Stoke up for years and also kept up West Brom, Palace where he won manager of the year. His football maybe crap but manages to keep teams in the Prem. Maybe we should have had him to save me moaning at Hollow? The fans absolutely hate him. They’ve taken 12 points from their last 21 league games and have won once at home in eight months. It looks like he was on the way to taking them down this season, though there may be 3 even worse teams in the PL. I guarantee you would have moaned at Pulis too, and I would have joined you! I think fans can tolerate successful awful football for a few seasons, but when they see no progress on the playing side and avoiding relegation as the major achievement year after year they remember that they want to be entertained once in a while as well.He kept Stoke up for years and also kept up West Brom, Palace where he won manager of the year. He’ll be at Swansea next week, and Coleman will be kicking himself for taking the Sunderland job. Allardyce to West Brom?
strange move when there appears to be a severe shortage of good managers out there out of work. WBA should be happy to finish top 10 ish (give or take) as not so long ago they were a yo yo club going between championship and premiership.
Maybe their fans think there as a safer pair of hands out there
