From his experience Pulis is a leader of men a total bastard if he has to be but gets the best outa what he got !
he runs the club from top to bottom as a sgt major
we have had to spend money cause the younger lads aint cutting it yet but money has now been spent in these areas !
stoke spend money to strive for a top half finish !

I looked at your profile mate and it does not show how long you have supported Stoke City?
It hurts when I see player's like Shotton, Whelan, Whitehead on the pitch when we leave.. Jerome, Adam, etc on the bench. We brought these players in because.
In the words of Tony Pulis " We want to take this club forward" " We have a plan and x years plan" Well of course we won't get relegated and if that's what you want to watch every week Potterpalm. Good luck to you.
We are indeedy going around in circles on the thread and have a few times in seasons past since promotion.
We do have a better squad now that's pretty much nailed on we all agree on this.
I've not read one poster on here.. a Stoke fan who has said. " I want a top six finish" and that would be rather stupid to expect anyway.
You say 14 teams in the premier league want to see better football. that's 15 including the mighty potters Potter Palm! Leaves us with the top six.
Swansea are above us, West Brom are above us.. both are miles better to watch IMHO that Stoke City right now. Where were they 5 years ago? Swansea in the lower leagues, Baggies up and down like a fiddlers elbow.. How come they have changed things Potter P and it seem's from where I am looking as a neutral. Both are playing very good football, Swansea especially.... for me far too many players (good players have come and gone in those five years) I don't know why but if Pulis runs the (team) like a Sgt Major maybe some player's don't/did'nt like it and told him so? They have gone sadly but Pulis has not because he will (keep us up) IF that makes you happy Potter Palm fantastic for you mate.
I know we have a squad that can when all are playing that can (entertain me more) not part the bus every away game because that is what's happening and will continue happening for the forseeable future IMO. Well I can't watch it after this season Potter Palm, my choice, my loss because I won't/ I refuse to see good player's being fecked around IMHO. Everton have not won anything? Arsenal have not won anything for x years.
For me it's not about winning every week Potter Palm. I ONLY want to see us play more open attacking football simple as that. Would we go down playing that way, IMHO of course not and it would be a more enjoyable day out for the AWAY fans too!

Enjoyment is the word Potts, and there is precious little of that watching Stoke, as you know Potts, I can only watch it via a stream or when I dare go to my local pub when Stoke are on the TV. I get heaps of abuse about the way Stoke (don't) play, it pees everybody off when I agree with them. That is not a defence mechanism, it is the honest truth.
What EVER happened to the team that hammered Bolton in the FA Cup Semi Final, THAT was the best Stoke display I had seen for nigh on 40 years, in front of god knows how many millions of viewers, and you lucky guys who saw it live. Also the 3-1 against Liverpool on Boxing Day was not too shabby was it.

This post is all the reasons why TP is not suitable.
The question is not who could do better, but who wouldnt have done worse having spent equal or less money. There is a very long list of managers who could have and hence makes TP look average at best.
Also being a total ****er by demanding respect rather thane earning it is nothing to be proud of!

TP is the worst manager in the prem, any other manager in the prem would have us playing good football and top 10 finish with the players we have (and the money we have spent). If you enjoy watching negative, pathetic roll over and die tactics then Pulis is your man. As for me im sick of watching the **** and would gladly put TP in a taxi and send him back to Wales. He has obviously brainwashed you as he has many others with his pathetic interviews glossing over all of the cracks that are ripping the heart out of Stoke city fc. The sooner another manager comes in the better.

Potterpalm, to date you have failed to give any form of serious argument for the positives of TP except that we havent been relegated. Whilst I accept that this a reason, there appears to be very few additional reasons and the rpo's and con's do appear to heavily stacked towards the negative. You keep repeating that there is no alternative or "who would we have" but that is not the reason to not discuss/debate the suitability of TP. It would be smiliar to me asking you why you bother to vote or me justifying my belief in a religion because it is better than the alternative, ort God exists because you cant prove that he doesnt! A very inward way of looking at things.
