Other than being in London I can think of absolutely no reason why anyone would want to sign for Crystal Palace.

From when Fraizer Campbell left he just seems to be a poison chalice.

Pulis is one of the greatest and worst managers in football.

Plays awful, unattractive, difficult to beat, park the bus , defensive football yet manages to gets a team of largely inept players for the premiership to play in an 'organised' and anti football way.

I would be gutted of Pulis or Alladyce became out manager.

The world of football is technically advancing and the likes of the German league are way more advanced than others. The likes of Pulis and Alladyce hold back English football.

Credit for Pulis, with what he did for Palace and especially the Liverpool result.

I understand the sentiment but I think there's a place for all types of football style - that's one of things that makes football a great sport. I agree, his style isn't exactly pleasing on the eye but that's not to say there isn't a place for it.

Also, all this Bundesliga/Spanish football has a better style... there's all sorts of styles and qualities in these leagues. Just 'cause Germany won the World Cup doesn't mean that each of their domestic teams (with foreign players) have a unique brand of football only used in their leagues. This argument was also used in Spain recently on how we're being left behind and need to copy their style from top to bottom as that's 'the future of football'.

There are many ways to win a football match and winning is a great feeling. Pulis did a great job at both Stoke and Palace. Palace probably looks more impressive as it was over such a short space of time but the difference he made at Stoke from top to bottom is huge. If I was a chairman with a little bit of cash in a club that needed building up, Pulis would be very high on my list. He knows what is required to grow a club both on and off the field - this involves getting results to ensure money keeps coming in.

Yes. He achieved the most dull, frustrating, disinteresting brand of football imaginable to man. He took the joy out of watching.

Great decision for all concerned. I'd even be happy if I was a palace fan.

Actually didn't they play better football after Pulis arrival.? Seem to remember a lot of the pundits were surprised that he wasn't repeating the tactics he used at Stoke. Also he like Bruce is keen on building the back room stuff training facilities etc and from a recent media interview I think that was also part of the fall out.
