Pugh's success at Leeds will depend entirely on his desire. Does he have any hunger to help Leeds to the Prem? How will being left out of Stoke's squad affect him? Pugh at left back, move Snods to wide left and play Nunez wide right. That will work nicely and not only give us some balance, but also ensure opposition defences have lots to think about. Clayton and Mika in midfield, Howson needs some bench time to think about his inconsistent performances this season. His only blinder was against West Ham alongside Clayton as Leeds bossed a Prem-class opposing midfield. Too hit and miss at the moment. Becchio and McCormack up front. We would be a lot better with a balanced team, but Grayson doesn't seem to fancy Nunez who is utter class!!! We will probably lose Nunez end of this season as well...why would he stay if all he can get is splinters in his bum? Now Grayson, go and get in a couple of good Centre Backs so we can fix our rubbish defence. Kisnorbo is done, much like Naylor was after his injury. The glaring issue we face with Bruce, Kissa and O'Brien is a total lack of acceleration and pace, which means if they are slightly out of position we are screwed. Kilgallon back at Leeds? Always been a solid player, and he is reasonably quick. There are some good Centre Backs in the Championship/League One but that would mean paying a transfer fee, and that is something Bates won't do. We seem to have a wage budget but no funds to go with it, which is the annoying thing.

A large wage pot us useless if you limit how much the manager can spend on each player's wages. Means you end up going for quantity over quality. And we've certainly done that.
