Puel's done one...

From what the Palace chairman said a few days ago Silva's agent called and begged for an interview, then the next day he was announced as the new Watford manager.

This isnt sour grapes or anything but there's something about Silva that I dont like.. The way his agent works, the fact he's insisted on having a break clause in his new Watford contract so if he wants, he can leave at the end of the season. He's a young manager who seems impatient to get a top club.
I didn't realise he had a break contract in his Watford contract, if he gets them relegated he'll have as much chance as schteve of getting a top job

I dislike the manner in which he has come to this country. He threw the dice, move on; Watford are welcome to him.

Slutsky is early doors, although his scriptwriter is top-drawer.

The more time has passed and I have thought about Silva's time with us, the lack of application against Sunderland, Palarse & Spurs was worrying. It will be interesting how he goes at Watford. I like so far what I have heard about Slutski, and look forward to seeing how he operates.

P.S. Obviously with Puel Soton were wanting to have a replacement lined up before sacking him, I guess we will hear who the new manager is shortly.
