I like and rate Rodgers but fear he’s on a bit of a hiding to nothing at Leicester who risk becoming like Everton where no realistic league finish makes the fans happy.
He should do better in the cups though than his predecessor which would help.
Lots of nice attacking flair there but a few older players need moving on and even having spent big on the defence they’re leaky.

Fair points ...but Rodgers has had Filip Benkovic at Celtic on loan... cracking young centre half.
As to realistic league finishes - with the finances and infrastructure at the club we should be competing for the 7th spot ... the vast majority of Leicester fans would see that as the aim ... anything more would be a bonus and mean one of the big 6 s underperforming... which does happen from time to time.

You’re certainly in the second tier behind the Sky six but ahead of the clubs who just want to finish 17th along with Everton, Watford, West Ham etc. If you finish 7th you’ve had as good a league season as you can honestly hope for but most fans would be a bit meh about it IMO so really he needs to win something to be a success, which is bloody hard.
