With better players. Dunno just feels like he’s in semi retirement going to Scotland and apparently has an ego problem which will go down great here! Would sooner look at Germany, some good managers coming out of there
Some press reports say we have offered Celtic £6 million for Rodgers to come in the summer ... not sure how much credence I would give them ..
Its not for the summer. Its for now Club have made their move tonight for Rodgers to take over immediately Judging by what Mike Stowell has said someone or something will be sorted for the weekend
On Puel. As of yet James Maddison is the only player to say thank you to Puel on social media. So they havent been gagged. They probably just glad to see the back of him Me personally I dont like to see that. No matter what you should thank Puel and wish him the best
I’m shocked not on here but flicking in FoxesTalk how much pure hatred is thrown at the guy even after he’s gone. There was no reason for anyone to hate him as a person, he is just dull, as even as a Puel outer yourself for example recognised the many good things that he did do. In the end results caught up to him and he wasn’t going to recover from that but pure insulting, abuse towards the guy from some is pathetic and speaks more to the characters of those supporters. As a club, we are let down but a large proportion of our fans base that are entitled, thick as **** waste of spaces
I glad Puel has gone. Long overdue but I just think you should show some respect to him. He started something good, granted he didnt know what to do with it but he tried to do something and it just never came close to working But Puel managed us through the worst time in our life’s as Leicester fans. I think just abit of respect doesnt cost too much. Even if you dont really mean it. Just say thank you and good luck
Celtic statement CELTIC Football Club today confirmed that it has been approached by Leicester City FC to speak to Brendan Rodgers with regards to their current managerial vacancy. Brendan has indicated to the Club that this is an opportunity he wishes to investigate further and therefore, very reluctantly, the Club has granted him permission to speak to Leicester City.
That reads as the standard "its not our fault if he leaves" statement. Listening to talksport this morning seems to suggest that Celtic and Rodgers are at odds over what the ambition should be. Seems Rodgers wants ambitious owners and won't get that up in Scotland while they are ruling domestically. Really wouldn't have expected to uproot any permanent manager before the summer, but guess this is a good sign so he could assess the squad going into next season.
Rangers going under was the worst thing for Celtic. They didnt need to show ambition or spend money and they will win the league and cups easily But in europe they are piss poor
