Pudding or desert ? (Now includes poll)

Good vegetables: Brussels sprouts, onions, carrot, red or yellow peppers, cauliflower, broccoli, courgette, mushrooms (not really a veg, mind), mooli, spinach

Bad vegetables: celery, celeriac, aubergine, lettuce (possibly the most pointless food in existence), green peppers (seriously folks, they're just ****ing unripe red and yellow peppers!)

I only like aubergine when it's been cremated and then covered in cheese (preferably mozzarella).

 

Some Asians cut Aubergine in half dip it in beaten eggs and barbecue it .

 

I like cabbage. Steamed then fried in butter with bacon.

 

Add bacon to any vegetable and it enhances it. In fact vegetarians should be allowed bacon. It's too cruel otherwise.

Spoke to a new woman at work the other day and one of the first things she told me was that she is a vegan.

I replied " I'm sorry to hear that " and walked away.

She may have just told me she was a Jehovah's witness .

 

I'll eat them all but broccoli is a bit dull and tasteless.I find cabbage a bit boring ( I do Also's recipe),probably need a bit more Asian knowledge to make it sexy.

What's there to like about lettuce? It's ****ing tasteless.

 

It's nice with chicken mayo sandwiches or in a BLT.

 

And wraps etc iceberg stands up to a lot of abuse.

 

Lettuce is just added to these dishes to try and make them look a bit healthy. If you took out the lettuce you wouldn't even notice any difference to the taste. The only vegetable more worthless in a sandwich is cucumber.

 

I like the taste and crunch of lettuce.

I'm struggling to comprehend that we have two veggies on site and both dislike some vegetables and one in particular seems to dislike vegetables in general.
