Who's ganning to the boozer this weekend then? Anybody planning on it or is the general consensus still to wait a tad longer till things settle down a bit more?

I'm in no rush to get back out into the bars like I must admit. I'm gonna aim for a BH Sunday session in Jesmond in Aug potentially but will see how things settle down between now and then. Gives me a chance to shed a few lbs as well :-D

Think i read somewhere that the Earl ain't opening up straight away so you'll have to make sure you've still got plenty of cans in Chippy !!

Sticking to cans personally a) cheaper b) I can get pissed in the comfort of my own home and the stagger to bed is easier c) to early and to many muppets out there who will not be looking after themselves and looking out for others.

Got no problem with pubs opening, mainly because I think we've been fed a pack of lies regarding this whole thing. Risk to the under 50's seems very minimal too. My advice to the older generation would be stay away until such a time the government decides to lie straight in bed <ok> Feels wrong saying that and treating sections of society differently, but based on what little we know it seems necessary.

Very keen for a night out on the lash with the boys as we ain't been out properly since ****ing New Years Day!
Oh yeah and keen to take the missus out too...

But having viewed the rules I can't see the ****ing point, I'm kinda thinking **** that and just having a party in the back garden instead. When I'm allowed to get mortal and sling my arms round folk, have pissed up piggy back fights, and generally not have to worry about COVID is when I'll go back.

Also pissed off gyms haven't opened, ridiculous call. Especially gyms where you do one on one training. Where I go in Kenton, its all PT, so at most there is you, your trainer, one other trainer and one other person in the gym. You're literally socially distanced at all times and my trainer had put loads of cleaning procedures in place ready. All a waste of time and he can't tell me when he's opening. I have done one weights session since March when he shut. I have done about 400 miles on the bike to keep the weight off but my arm muscles are pathetic <laugh>

Leaving it for a bit. Saved a ton of money staying at home on Saturday afternoons instead of going to the local boozer and getting pissed.

plus, from what I’ve heard the social distancing measures won’t even give you half the enjoyment as usual anyway.
