The Compton organ in Watford Colosseum is based on the organ from the Gaumont Palace Chelsea. It was removed from the theatre and installed in Watford Town Hall in the 1960s
Got there. It was taken from Chelsea to the Gaumont cinema in Watford and when that came down was taken to the town hall where it has been fully restored and is now used in concerts. It used to be played in the interval at Saturday morning pictures where you might see the Lone Ranger.

I have internet at home again. I spoke to Little Ak to test the wire in the afternoon and it broke again when we were talking but I think it was still being fixed.

I am from the Saturday morning flicks era North Harrow or Rayners Lane wonderful cinemas sadly no more I hate these warehouses where folk play with their mobiles and constantly go out and in.
