As a matter of fact the two teams were supposed to also play a return match the following day but it got postponed because of a frozen pitch.
The match programme costed sixpence.
The visiting side were relegated that year - their season was not helped by having had a polio epidemic in the town at the start of the season which had resulted in the town being sealed off for a couple of months, thus leading to a backlog of fixtures.
 
This refers to a record set in one particular match. Alan Ball didn't know at the time that it would turn out to be a record. The crowd was just over 20,000, a figure rarely reached by the club these days. A lot of the crowd may have been wearing cloth caps, and probably walked to the ground -no SUVs in those days and fewer cars, not sure if anyone arrived by sleigh ?????
 
Played on Christmas day 1965, it was the last match in England played on the 25th and Ball scored the last goal on that particular date. Christmas Day football finally ended ten years later in Scotland and is still used at intermediate level in Northern Ireland. Before 1965 it had been regular practice in England unless Christmas Day fell on a Sunday. Over to you.

TBF the only film of note in that list is Shalako, which I've seen several times.
The second film is not the Dolph Longren vehicle of the same name.
 
The latest film in the string is Glass Onion, which, if you haven't seen it, is a must watch movie. The film is The second part of a trilogy where all three are excellent. Hopefully the run will continue to a 4th.
 
The star of Shalako was the first in the role which forms the connection, the star of Glass Onion stepped down from the said role prior to making that film. In between there were two models turned actors, a renowned board treader (stage actor), an Irish ex-model who continues to be a huge success having made his debut in The Long Good Friday, and the latest who refuses to be defined by the role and very much plays against type.
 
One actor has been left out because his role was not part of the rights owning group.
The first made a return decades later, in a film outside of the franchise, which has been ignored.
