That's it Yorkie - horse drawn buses (as opposed to ''Hores drawn buses'' <laugh>). Apparently they had a cache of 60,000 of them left over and the Museums didn't want them, and collectors had enough. So they were ceremonially dropped into the thames - one lone policemen saluted their demise and the end of a tradition which once filled London's streets - the last operative one was in 1914 but they couldn't compete with the motorised version and the poor horses were wanted for the war effort. Over to you.

No.... but current this week....and was on the bbc news site
 
A vote of some description ? There are 30 members of NATO, so I guess 27 were in favour and 3 against - could it be on the question of possible new members such as Sweden or Ukraine ?
