Cheers Fez - the East Germans (of a certain age group) all had Russian at school. The lack of English teachers there meant that Russian was still being taught up to 10 years after the reunification. So it may be that Rammstein simply don't feel confident in English.
Now I have to think up something <doh>
Mrs Fez has a former work colleague who is from East Germany. He has been a guest at our house. He used to spend his summer's lambing in what is now Kazahkstan. His late wife was Russian.
Rammstein sing in Russian, French, Spanish, and yes, English. Mostly (pretty much all) in German. Richard Kruspe lived in America for several years before returning to Germany where he joined Rammstein.
To my mind the problem is in translation from German to English: it doesn't work! I think that they are a sensational band.Very, very clever. But the meaning to the songs gets lost once literally translated.

yes..over to you... how did you know??
There is a lot of evidence in the snip Yorkie - the period, the clothing, also it is in Notre Dame. Napoleon is on the far right (evidence from the Caesarite laurel wreath on his head) - about to crown his wife (otherwise one of the bishops would be performing this part of a coronation).

Cheers Yorkie. Normally politicians promise to slash taxes or create jobs when coming to power - but which incoming administration promised to make everyone younger and why ?
