A big clue here - the record referred to was consecutive appearances in the Europa League - 20 consecutive seasons, a sequence which only came to an end this season. In earlier days lovingly referred to by their rivals as the rat chasers.

Time for more clues, or rather a summary.

20 years continuous participation in the Europa League (a record) = consistently a top performer in their league, but not quite in the European elite or this would have been broken by Champions League knockout stage appearances. Sequence broken this season.
Rat baiting was a sport there = probably close to lots of water
Named their stadium after a revolutionary butcher from the 14th century = Must have been a very symbolic character in some way. There's also a statue of him in the market square.
Fox terriers = Some historic connection to England ?

Got it...

Club Brugge
Thats the one Yorkie. They have played the last 20 years in the Europa League - a sequence which they ended this season by getting through to the knockout phase of the Champions League. Their current stadium is named after Jan Breydel who led a Flemish revolt against the King of France (whether he actually did this is open to question) and is seen as an early central symbolic figure of Flemish nationalism. Over to you.

Can you name this stadium and the team that plays here? Championship long ball would be ideal here! Shrewsbury Town's Fred may be needed... :emoticon-0105-wink:
