Did have time after all. All yours. That would be Les Taylor...
They deduced from moon samples that the last volcanic activity on the Moon was much more recent than previously thought ?Something to do with space travel.
You're just about there so will give it to you. They deduced from moon samples that the last volcanic activity on the Moon was much more recent than previously thought ?
Cheers BB.You're just about there so will give it to you.
The Chinese Chang'e 5 spacecraft was the first craft to land on an area of the moon called the Ocean of Storms - an area known to be younger and smoother than previous landing areas. The basalt samples collected - produced during the last lunar volcanic activity - were analysed for lead isotopes. Using lead's rate of radioactive decay allowed scientists to calculate the activity as occuring two billion years ago. As an aside, the Chinese are becoming more adventurous in space - they plan to have a colony living at one of the moon's poles by 2030. Long way to go for a takeaway...
Over to you.
I'll give you that BBA muezzin's call to prayer?
It is actually the use of a microphone which is audible to the whole community. In Switzerland the building of minarets is now forbidden. In Austria it's a strange position because Islam has been regarded as a state religion there for over 100 years (because of the Bosnian population in the old Austro Hungarian Empire) but they're not allowed to call them to prayer in Vienna - in the rest of Austria it's ok. Anyway they're allowed to do it for 5 minutes per day in Cologne (at full blast) in competition with the Cathedral. In the Netherlands there is little restriction but the volume has to be turned down very low. Not entirely sure about the situation in England. Over to you.Arsenal invincibles? Hopefully too obvious...Which near-neighbours of Watford hold a football record that has never been matched - and is unlikely ever to be matched - and what is the record?
No. The near neighbours in question are much nearer - and far from invincible. As well as being lower league...Arsenal invincibles? Hopefully too obvious...
George Duck of Wealdstone scored a record 62 goals in the 1973/1974 season.No. The near neighbours in question are much nearer - and far from invincible. As well as being lower league...
Not a record though - Dixie Dean scored 63 in the 1927/28 season. Right team though.George Duck of Wealdstone scored a record 62 goals in the 1973/1974 season.
Successive promotions by Kings Langley FC up to the Southern League Premier ?Not a record though - Dixie Dean scored 63 in the 1927/28 season. Right team though.
Although their record has never been matched, they are acually co-holders.
No - you've gone in the wrong direction.Successive promotions by Kings Langley FC up to the Southern League Premier ?
Not St Albans, but Dulwich Hamlet were the other team involved. The scoreline was the only time such a score has happened in an FA Cup match - or in the top four divisions of the League Pyramid, the League Cup, League Trophy, FA Community Shield, FA Trophy or FA Vase.Is this to do with St.Albans City - the highest number of goals scored by one player in a cup tie which they lost ? Wilfred Minter scored 7 goals against Dulwich Hamlet but they lost 7-8.
