Not exactly dancing Yorkie - some whilst doing this activity do, indeed, dance a little whilst doing it, but they don't get a good reputation ! Certainly not in them days ! Nothing to do with ships Yorkie. As a matter of fact, on the day in question in Blackpool there were no buses or trams running and most people went on foot to witness the event. They were actually making history but didn't know it.
