One of my favourite players. When he hit the ball 40 yards straight to a Watford player it was 'long ball'. When Hoddle did it it was 'a wonderful pass'. Bah!
Anyway, I only entered the quiz to be able to ask my favourite football quiz question...

Who were the first father and son to play in the same team in an English league game? When and where too?

Or even 'wind-assisted' or 'freak goal' - like this one at Rotherham (described as from the half-way line when it was clearly further than that). I like this video as I can be seen leaping around like a demented frog as the ball hits the back of the net..
