There used to be a racehorse called Muff Diver, not sure how that got through the net! At the bottom of this piece there are a few names that crept through, very clever some of them! http://everguide.com.au/entertainment/sport/news/a-guide-to-naming-a-race-horse-srg.aspx
I've got those songs on my iPod because of that very reason. Who are the 2 Dutch cricket internationals currently playing in county cricket and which counties do they play for?
I thought it would take longer than 20 minutes for someone to get it - cologne, as you just got there first, you set the next question. Edit: you missed out "ten" from Ryan ten Doeschate whereas OFH didn't, so whichever of the pair of you can think of a question first, go ahead and ask it.
Bother! A question I could answer and I was elsewhere. I've seen both play this year, though neither made much impact in the games I saw. Funnily enough, over twenty years ago I played cricket in the same team as a lad called Keith Dutch, batsman and off spinner. He went on to play for Middlesex and then moved to Somerset. He was about as Dutch as Ricky Ponting of course, but this question just reminded me of someone I'd forgotten I knew...
OK, I am off to bed now, but a question for those still awake. In which year and month did www.watfordfc.com appear for the first time?
This is pure guesswork as I've only been using internet myself for about 10 years. So I'll guess at February 1996 (when G.T. became manager again).
Wouldn't have thought it was that early. When I became RM of a Government Dept in Oz, one of my first projects was to oversee the introduction of a PC based network - and that was in July 1996. The first thing I did when the network was up and running was hook up with some friends in Watford/Bushey via email - and the second was to look for a Watford FC website. I'm sure I didn't find one until the following year, so I'll say Feb. 1997 (or thereabouts )
Sorry to leave you hanging guys but my grand daughter demanded my attendance at her 10th Birthday party. BB you are very close with your thereabouts. It was 10th December 1997. GT was saying that progress would continue off the field no matter what happened on it. Over to you.
Le Départ de 1792, ???????, La Résistance de 1814, La Paix de 1815 A double-barrelled one here - what is the missing item in the sequence, and what is the sequence?
La Marseillaise. They are sculptures on the Arc de Triomphe de l'Ãtoile that you see as you walk round it.
