Time for a few clues. I'm not sure about fencing - I suppose they must be good at this as well, but they can lay a claim to be the most successfull sporting nation as they have 18.39 olympic gold medals for every million people, apparently the highest ratio for any nation. They also have a taste for salted licorice and have the most heavy metal bands per capita !

Unfortunately she doesn't have a sword Frenchie - she only has a Masters Degree, so she may have a bread knife locked away somewhere She is also the first head of state to have been raised by same sex parents, which shows how advanced this country is.
