I deny everything. No, but Rankin is one of them.
Cheers Yorkie. The only European clubs to have done this are Lazio Rome and IFK Malmö - what was it ? Worldwide - Esporte Clube Cruzeiro and Atletico Kimberley have done it as well (as a helpfull clueyep! over to you
).A clue is that Lazio 'achieved' this in 1934 and IFK Malmö in 1958.Cheers Yorkie. The only European clubs to have done this are Lazio Rome and IFK Malmö - what was it ? Worldwide - Esporte Clube Cruzeiro and Atletico Kimberley have done it as well (as a helpfull clue).
Moving in the right direction Yorkie. There is something significant about the years given.is is kit that was different coloured but both teams looked the same on tv??
I think you're close enough Barry. In 1934 Austria were due to play Germany and, apparently, realized too late that both played in white - neither side had a reserve kit with them and so Austria played in the borrowed kit of Lazio Rome. The same thing happened when Argentina turned up in Sweden without an alternative kit in 1958 and had to borrow kit from Malmö. So Lazio Rome and IFK Malmö are the only European clubs to have had their kit used for the World Cup. Over to you. They were both World Cup years - did they lend their kit to one of the sides playing in a match they were hosting so the difference between the kits was more noticeable on TV?
