Well I'm not a grammarian - even if I did go to WBGS - but I still wouldn't accept it.

The final one is often used but equally often not thought about.

I would take a guess here at 'of'. If I am allowed to turn the phrase around ie. Jim's playing equalling the playing of Jim.

No - that's more an apostrophe of possession.

But you're right that the answer is a two letter word... :)

Is the last one 'as'. As in so's meaning so as. In which case the list would be is, has, us, does and as. ?

Cheers BB. A political one. Which is the only country in the World to have had a Green Party head of government ? I mean a country here (as opposed to a state such as Baden Wurtemburg) and an actual head of government (as opposed to a symbolic president eg. in Austria). In other words a whole country where the Green Party actually finished first and had to form a national government.

Is it Finland, cologne? They were actually Finnish first, and helped form a national government. :)

Very close Andy. The Finnish Green Party have actually served in 4 coalition governments - but always as the junior party. Not far away though.

Depending on the definition of 'green' Col Gaddafi claimed to be 'green' (note his national flag for Libya).
I would guess that your answer is Latvia.

It is Latvia NZ. Indulis Emsis became the only head of government from the Green Party in February 2004 when he formed a Green Party minority government which only lasted for 10 months before being forced into a coalition. Although the Latvian Green Party calls itself a centre right party it is still a member of the European Greens. I had forgotten about Gaddafi's Green Book - but this is more a statement of Arab Socialism than of 'Green' politics, although there are similarities. Over to you.
