Peterborough Utd. were in the newly created County of Huntingdon & Peterborough formed by the amalgamation of Huntingdonshire & the Soke of Peterborough in 1965.

Oh dear! I got that one wrong then. I thought it was part of Northamptonshire. I wasn't including Welsh counties, but I didn't say that. I suppose I should have.

So the answer is: Cornwall, Westmoreland, and Rutland

I'm not sure who gets next go.

Well cologne came up with two of the right answers...

One of my goals was offside BB - apparently Cornwall is not technically a county but rather a Duchy. Anyway....my question.
You are on ye olde Elizabethan market - around 1560 or so. The market handler insists that an item costs a Crown - however you have only a Quarter Angel and 2 groats to your name. How much more would you need ?

Spoiler!

[NSFW][/NSFW]Farthing = 1/4 penny
Half penny = 1/2 penny
Threefarthing = 3/4 penny
Penny = 1 penny = 1d
Half groat = 2 pennies = 2d
Groat = 4 pennies = 4d
Sixpence = 6 pennies = 6d
Shilling = 12 pennies = 1s
Half crown = 30 pennnies = 2s 6d
Quarter angel = 30 pennies = 2s 6d
Crown = 60 pennies = 5s
Half angel = 60 pennies = 5s
Angel = 120 pennies = 10s
Half pound = 120 pennies = 10s
Pound = 240 pence = 20s = £1
Fine Sovereign = 360 pence = 30s = £1 10s

I think it's all yours Dave - Only by a matter of 10 years or so. The angel increased it's value in around 1550. So, at the time, 2 Groats and a quarter Angel would have been 3s 2d leaving 1s 10d to make a Crown - over to you.
