Thanks BB - used to be a favourite of mine and would have been great to have seen him at Viarage road <laugh>

England batsman Eddie Paynter scored the winning runs in the 4th Ashes test at the Gaba in 1933. What was unusual about his performance?

    Yup - cheating poms... <whistle>

Sticking to the cricket theme - what record was set during England's West Indies tour in 2009?

Shortest ever Test match - the match in Antigua was abandoned after 10 balls due to the bowlers failing to get any grip in both run-up and delivery stride - it had taken 34 minutes to get just that far.

If you ignore Emma Watson, who was born in Paris, which person born outside Britain and Ireland appeared most in the Harry Potter films?

Spot on, BB. For those who don't know, he played Percy Weasley and was born in New Zealand.

Professional sportsman Mitchell Lewis managed a 'world first' last week, much to his surprise. What did he do?

He may have done, but it's most definitely not the 'first' I'm thinking of, and I'm not sure that he was surprised to do so. :)

I'm thinking of something with a ball...

I don't have the answer, but the board in front of one of the pubs I pass on the way home from work advertised a "Quiz Nigh"!

Looks like another clue is needed. :(

The ball in question is egg-shaped...

That's the one. Some desperate defending during a ruck on his own try line saw him touch the ball down in order to force a five metre scrum. Unfortunately for him, the ref was unsighted and called the tv official for help - and the plonker of an official awarded a try.

    Over to you...
