Is it the 71-72 season? If so there are a lot to choose from, but Douggie Woodfield lasted less than 45 minutes after a big money move from Wolves and he hadn't been insured.

Right season NZ - but wrong player. The player I'm thinking of had the sad record of helping the club to just one solitary point out of a possible twenty six.

That's the one - a Scottish :)emoticon-0111-blush) right back whose playing record was a dismal 13 games of which we lost 12 and drew 1.

    Over to you...

What or who links Andy Warhol, a North Korean postage stamp, and Keith Eddy's penalty-taking coaching?

Andy Warhol was an artist; postage stamps have pictures; Keith Eddy told someone how to take penalties.

    Pele?

Andy Warhol painted a picture of him, DPR Korea issued a stamp depicting him in 1989 - and Keith Eddy showed him how to take a penalty kick when they were both playing for NY Cosmos.

Yes, bb. I like the thought of Eddy telling Pele, in a broad Barrow accent, how to take penalties.

Arguably the most successful British-made film ever in terms of audience numbers, which film was viewed by just under half the population of Britain within six weeks of release?

No - but the term stabbing in the dark is a bit of a clue. Again, it was a lot earlier than that.
