And yes - a gruesome tale. Interesting that, in the link you posted, it mentioned that King Billy's skull was thought to be in Edinburgh, but tests disproved that - a few years ago, the 'Edinburgh head' was returned to Tasmania having been proven that it was.

awful eh.... glad i didn't go into politics.... I think they still do it but only metaphorically.... judging by what goes on in the house of commonness!
 
During WWII, the Allies replaced an item of Army equipment of their own design with one of German design which, ironically, played a major part in them winning the war. What was the item they replaced known as, and what did they replace it with?
 
Was it their MP40s? I remember reading somewhere they were instantly picked up after a battle as they were far superior to English submachineguns.
